Important Information. If it looks like you will not be at the delivery address on your selected day then leave a message in the checkout area where you would like the courier to leave your box. Alternatively send an email to orders@kingcrab.co.uk and let us know. We will then pass this information onto the courier at the booking in stage. Unfortunately couriers cannot call you when they are due to be at your address. We always recommend that you are in on the day of delivery.

Safe Places. Please do not expect the delivery driver to have the common sense that you have! If you would like your box to be left in a safe place you are putting your delivery in the hands of a competent driver on the day. Sometimes delivery drivers simply do not understand the safe place instructions or completely ignore them. We cannot be held responsible for a driver misunderstanding the safe place instructions.

Late Deliveries. During the year even during busy times over 95% of our deliveries are delivered on the chosen day. However sometimes they are delivered one day late. There are various reasons why the courier may have to deliver the day after your chosen day. These include boxes being left behind in their warehouse, parcels being put on the wrong van, traffic delays, vehicle breakdowns and driver error. Unfortunately none of these can ever be eliminated.

By placing an order with us you are agreeing to accept your delivery a day late.

Will your fish and seafood still be ok? We send out fresh and frozen products every single working week day of the year. Fresh products are packed with icepacks and frozen products have dry ice placed with them. Via our packaging and overnight delivery method we try very hard to ensure your fish arrives either very fresh or very frozen. Most parcels arriving a day late will still be frozen when opened but we do not guarantee your fish will be frozen on arrival. As long as the fish is still cold to touch it will be completely safe to refreeze. In the unusual occurance of your box being warm inside we will work with you on a resend or refund. Please tell us in this instance via phone call or email immediately. Fish in general is a very stable and safe food to eat unlike some meats and chicken. We endeavour to get it right every time but sometimes, just sometimes it goes wrong.
