British flounders (commonly known as the European flounder)
For the first time in our 15 year online history we saw a great landing of flounders on our local market here in Grimsby during November. We bought over one hundred kilo and sold plenty fresh. Although the whole fish are now sold we filleted plenty and blast froze them. Now available in one kilo bags as frozen fillets. Very cheap British fish.

A one kilo bag of smaller fresh halibut fillet. We say small but halibut doesn't really come in small sizes. Bones removed, frozen individually and packed in one kilo bags.

We buy our kippers from Beverley. Not a lady but a small market town in the East Riding of Yorkshire. We have bought from this family company for over thirty years. Here you can buy three kilo frozen boxes of their products at a heavily reduced price.
3 kilo box boneless dyed kipper fillets (approx 18 fillets per box)
3 kilo box dyed whole kippers (approx 14 kippers per box)
3 kilo box undyed whole kippers (approx 14 kippers per box)
Each box has been block frozen. To separate each kipper either drop down on a hard floor to shatter apart or simply temper off until you can remove what you need and then put back into the freezer. You may find a use-by sticker on them. Please ignore as this was the fresh use by date from when we bought them before we blast froze them. All frozen this year. Use within 6 months.

Farmed in the sea off the coasts of Scotland and Norway. We only buy from reputable companies which are regular inspected. They have a great texture and taste due to the large areas of clean water in which they swim. The nutrients in the water help them grow and, along with the pellets that they are fed, give them a fantastic colour.

Frozen Hake Portions.

Bought off Grimsby Fish Market, filleted, boned and frozen by us. Portions cut off full fresh fillets and frozen in minutes. Each bag contains 3-5 portions weighing 1 kilo in total

2 haddock fillets topped with a delicious broccoli, leek and cheese sauce and finished with crusty croutons.

These large frozen sardines are caught off the coast of Portugal when the fat content is just right. Individually quick frozen so you can take what you want from the 1kg bag. Look out for fresh supplies which we receive during the summer months, great on the bbq.

Skinless and boneless Fillets 1 kilo

Great price as frozen when there is a glut of fresh fish on our local market. We buy when prices hit rock bottom and store in our freezers.
We blast freeze each fillet individually.

We buy the raw cod roe at the Grimsby Fish Market during the winter and boil it. You can buy it here cooked. After cooking we cut into handy sized portions and vacuum pack. You have to slice it and fry it, bacon fat works best. Enjoy these products all year round from the freezer.

Dog fish, rock salmon, rock eel, huss... It's the fish of many names is this one. We buy fresh from the English south coast and blast freeze for ten minutes. Seemingly very popular down south but nowadays enjoyed nationwide.
