We buy our kippers from Beverley. Not a lady but a small market town in the East Riding of Yorkshire which has a delightful smoke house. We have bought from this family company for over thirty years. Here you can buy three kilo frozen boxes of their products at a heavily reduced price.
3 kilo box boneless dyed kipper fillets (approx 18 fillets per box)
Each box has been block frozen. To separate each kipper either drop down on a hard floor to shatter apart or simply temper off until you can remove what you need and then put back into the freezer. All frozen this year. Use within 12 months.
