Our cockles are harvested from the Essex cockle beds close to the Thames Estuary, Deal Bros have been doing this for decades but a few years ago they invested in new, state or the art, nitrogen freezing equipment and the results are the finest cockle meat tasting every bit as good as if you were to cook them on the beach.
