We attend the local fresh fish auction here in Grimsby five days per week.<br>The fish merchants on Grimsby market are predominantly looking for cod and haddock. Occasionally boxes of mixed fish are sold extremely cheaply as the main crowds are preoccupied on other sales. We often buy these boxes of fresh fish and sell very cheaply on our fresh fish display in our Grimsby shop. We like to make sure fish is affordable to all. Alternatively it all makes for a very good pie mix which we sell a lot of. Here you can buy one kilo packs of this fish. It is all boneless with the skin on. The variation can be as follows: Cod, haddock, plaice, lemons, red bream, ling, tusk, whiting, pollock, coley, catfish and plenty more besides. You will always be guaranteed at least two different species - it may be more! All of it fresh, all of it boneless to the best of our abilities and all of it delicious. It will be limited to only 5 kilo per day so it may not always be available. If we are sold out check another day.

Our last delivery date still available this year is Christmas Eve. There are few spaces left for Christmas Eve as we will be only
offering a reduced delivery service with T&C's. The reason for this is because if the couriers DPD or DHL fail to deliver on Christmas Eve then the goods will be destroyed. Any other date leading up to Christmas your order can be tried again the next day but this cannot happen on Christmas Day! We cannot refund any orders or resend any deliveries not delivered on time on Christmas Eve. Please bear this in mind when choosing your delivery date.
When ordering your fish and seafood during December please do not ask for your order to be delivered on the day that you actually
need it. We advise you order your fish and seafood for the days prior to your occasion or day of need. All our December deliveries have every chance of being on the roadfor two days because of the busy time of the year. Our packaging/ dry ice / ice gel packs are robust enough to handle this and during December temperatures are favourable and in our favour. We send out our fish and seafood all year round including during summer heatwaves. Your products will remain unaffected by two dayson the road in December. Our delivery service resumes in the new year on January 6th. Our shop in Grimsby will be closed from midday Christmas Eve
until 6.00am Monday 5th January 2026.
From our position here in Grimsby we can offer products to you the retail or trade customer at incredibly good value. We attend the Grimsby Fish Market daily where fish is still sold at a 'shout' auction. The highest bidder wins! Sometimes supply outstrips demand and prices plummet. This is where we can step in and buy fresh fish at low prices. When we do so we send out an email to everybody that has filled in the pop up form on our site. This will make all aware that we have a certain species that we can offer fresh for three to five days at a rock bottom price or that we have bought a lot of fish that we will be blast freezing and selling from our frozen fish section at a great price. We ourselves are inundated weekly from suppliers trying to sell to us. We have a great reputation as a good payer so we are often first call for suppliers trying to get a quick deal on a pallet or two of seafood.
