Warmer sea temperatures have seen them return to our shores and with better fishing policies than those that were around in the 20th century we can now catch again in safe quantities and sell some on our fresh counter and online sales. You will get 1 kilo for £35.00.<br>Your fish will arrive in a sealed bag. Upon delivery remove from the bag immediately, rinse with cold water and pat dry. FROZEN Smoked Haddock

Here you can buy one kilo bags of our frozen smoked haddock. We buy our haddock off the Grimsby Fish Market. It is then processed here in Grimsby into boneless fillets. It is then cured (smoked) here in Grimsby by our next door neighbour in his smoke house. We then freeze in our blast freezer. It takes a matter of minutes to go from fresh to frozen. We have two choices: Traditional which has a yellow dye in the product as was always done in bygone days. We also sell the product natural. Still smoked just like the yellow but with no food colouring added. Use the dropdown box to choose.

We buy our kippers from Beverley. Not a lady but a small market town in the East Riding of Yorkshire which has a delightful smoke house. We have bought from this family company for over thirty years. Fresh Fish Mystery Bag

We attend the local fresh fish auction here in Grimsby five days per week.<br>The fish merchants on Grimsby market are predominantly looking for cod and haddock. Occasionally boxes of mixed fish are sold extremely cheaply as the main crowds are preoccupied on other sales. We often buy these boxes of fresh fish and sell very cheaply on our fresh fish display in our Grimsby shop. We like to make sure fish is affordable to all. Alternatively it all makes for a very good pie mix which we sell a lot of. Here you can buy one kilo packs of this fish. It is all boneless with the skin on. The variation can be as follows: Cod, haddock, plaice, lemons, red bream, ling, tusk, whiting, pollock, coley, catfish and plenty more besides. You will always be guaranteed at least two different species - it may be more! All of it fresh, all of it boneless to the best of our abilities and all of it delicious. It will be limited to only 5 kilo per day so it may not always be available.<br>Your fish will arrive in a sealed bag. Farmed in the sea off the coasts of Scotland and Norway. We only buy from reputable companies which are regular inspected. They have a great texture and taste due to the large areas of clean water in which they swim. The nutrients in the water help them grow and, along with the pellets that they are fed, give them a fantastic colour. <br>Your fish will arrive in a sealed bag.
