Skinless boneless Greenland halibut portions from the Royal Greenland fishing company. Sometimes called Greenland turbot or black halibut. Not quite the same as the more common white halibut this species is more likely to find its way into the Japanese market. The Germans buy it for smoking and the French buy it because it tends to be cheaper than the bigger white halibut. These were brought into the UK just as the pandemic started and didn’t sell hence this drastically reduced price as close to best before date being June 2022, as best before is not a sell by date we will continue to sell these as we see fit.
