Delivery to your door - how does this work?

You may be worried about your fresh and frozen seafood arriving with you at the right temperature; don't be. Your order will be dispatched in sealed packaging, inside an insulated polystyrene box and an outer cardboard box, this will contain dry ice if frozen seafood or gel packs if fresh seafood, although the ice-packs may melt be assured the temperature of the box will stay constant to ensure the minimum chill time doesn’t change, this ensures that the correct temperatures are maintained whilst in transit. Where there is a small order of mixed fresh or frozen we may pack the items in the same box to save on packaging.
We do ask that somebody is available at the delivery address to receive your order or that you have made arrangements for the parcel(s) to be left in a suitable and safe place. We guarantee our deliveries and in the unlikely event of a problem we will refund any monies due to missed delivery which is our fault.

Delivery covers most of mainland UK however some postcodes north of the Clyde/Forth line and all of the Highlands will be subject to delay and can take two or even three days to reach you. Additional costs may be incurred (we will contact you regarding additional transport costs if needed) and temperature cannot be guaranteed however just email us from the contacts page and this can be clarified.

When will my seafood be delivered?

Orders received before 9am Monday - Friday can usually be delivered the next day. Subject to fresh and live seafood supplies.

We aim to have your order delivered the next day however, all kinds of problems can happen on the great British roads which can delay your order, we are a company that work on as little food waste as possible, we pack every consignment with enough dry ice and gel packs to cover a two - three day delivery for the inevitability that a delivery may go wrong, so there is no reason to panic!!!! We do ask that you accept your order if a delay has occurred as this will still be in a perfect condition for you to enjoy, if there are any problems we will help to resolve these ASAP.

We use dpd and FedEx for our deliveries, if you have a preference please contact us before dispatch with your preferred courier so we can arrange this for you.

Orders placed on Saturday, Sunday and Monday before 9am can be delivered the following Tuesday onwards, please select your desired delivery date from the date picker at the checkout, if for any reason your delivery date is not possible we will contact you to arrange a suitable date for you to take your delivery.

What will my delivery cost?

We offer free delivery on all orders £95 and above. Orders of a lesser value attract a nominal delivery charge of £15 based on weight itemised on the checkout pages before payment is taken. Should you order very heavy items with a low value such as oysters with a cost less than £95 then this will attract a hefty delivery charge. Minimum orders are £25 and above.
