Well the French like them, then again if it moves the French will eat it. Escargots to them - snails to us. To be eaten together as after consumption you will all have breath that can strip paint. Personally they make me feel a bit sluggish!
We buy fresh scallops daily so hence we get the shells. These are the selected large sizes which have been thoroughly washed and ready for purpose. Use them for decoration or as an improvised dish for your starter, use as an ash tray would be sacrilege...
Well it's something different and if you have never tried them here's your chance. Frogs legs from France, where else; taste a bit like chicken with taste. If you really want to go French then order the snails in this section too!
